Outstanding Features of Toto Ultramax ii toilet
Toto Ultramax II is a modern toilet, it is made from vitreous china, and the Cefiontect finish gives a smooth and shine. Moreover, the layer prevents the stain and bacteria from sticking to the toilet bowl. The toilet has an elongated bowl, providing more seating capacity to users. The design and height comply with ADA standards. The Toto Ultramax II toilet comes in 4 unique colors; however, the Cotton white color will give your bathroom a modern look.
The Toto UltraMax II uses the Toto’s innovative double cyclone flushing system, also known as a tornado flushing system. The system uses two nozzles to create a robust centrifugal action and swallow all the waste. In a double cyclone system, the water comes through a 3” flush valve and is delivered in 2 different directions. The first direction is through a large siphon jet located at the bottom of the bowl. The other two nozzles are based just below the rim of the bow. These nozzles conserve more water, but a person gets a better wash off the rim and the toilet bowl in return. The Tornado flushing system doesn’t spill or splash the water on the toilet seat. The flushing and refilling are fast and too silent.
One key feature of this toilet is low water consumption. The Ultramax II is a single flush system and uses only 1.28 GPF water. The low water usage ensures you can save up to 20% water. The low water consumption makes it eligible for the EPA WaterSense certificate. In some states, you get rebates on the water bill. The Ultramax II extensive 2 ⅛ tramway is glazed with Cefiontect which prevents the dirt, mold, and bacteria from sticking to the toilet bowl.
Height and Dimension
In the US, three different height toilets are used. The standard height is between 13 and 15-inches. The universal height toilets are between 15 and 17 inches tall from floor height. The Ultramax II is 16.8 Inches from floor height, but the height becomes 17.25 inches after the seat installation. The model weighs about 99 pounds, a standard 12-inch rough-in and its dimensions are 28.3 x 16.6 x 28.8 inches. It fits easily in the majority of bathrooms.
Easy to Clean
Keeping the Toto Ultramax II neat and clean is super easy, as there are no joints between the tank and the bowl. With its large trap way, there is minimal chance of the waste behind. The toilet Sanagloss coating prevents the stain and bacteria growth. After every single flush, you will get a clean toilet.
Easy to Install
The UltraMax II toilet uses a standard 12” rough into the waste. The rough-in is measured from the wall to the center of the pipe. It means you will not struggle in toilet installation, however, due to its single-piece design, it weighs more than a two-piece toilet, and you may need an extra pair of hands to move and place the toilet over the waste pipe. In case of any issue, the toilet manual will be helpful. If you lack time or DIY, you can hire a plumber to install the toilet.
Although The Toto UltraMax II is not the cheapest option available in the market, however, its features make it one of the best for its price. With the less costly toilet, there is a potential risk of leakage or broken pieces. So it is advisable to invest money in Ultramax II, which will last for almost 20 years.
The Ultramax II comes with a SoftClose seat. The ergonomically designed seat is made up of high gloss polypropylene. It uses a built-in SoftClose hinge system, which gently lowers the toilet seat, eliminating annoying toilet slamming as you walk away half asleep.
The Toto Ultramax II is glazed with Cefiontect means you have to take extra care while choosing a cleaning agent. Abrasive chemicals, cleaning agents, or a stiff toilet brush can damage the SanaGloss coating. Once you have damaged the coating, your toilet will be vulnerable to bacteria growth.
Therefore, for cleaning purposes use brand recommended cleaner and a soft toilet brush.
The Toto Ultramax II is a modern ADA compliant toilet, meeting the WaterSense eligibility criteria by consuming 1.28 GPF water due to low water consumption you can reduce the water bill. Furthermore, the toilet features a strong flushing system and a SanaGloss finish, keeping the toilet nice and clean for a longer time.
